Terry O'Rourke Donoghue, director of marketing and communications for the Institute for Consultative Bioethics, has been appointed president of the Catholic high school in Moon. She succeeds Elizabeth Santillo who resigned at the end of the 2010-11 school year.

A Western Pennsylvania native, Mrs. Donoghue earned a bachelor's degree in English at the University of Pittsburgh and a master's in business administration at Robert Morris University. She has experience in marketing, enrollment management, planning, public speaking and fundraising, according to the school.

Her career background includes significant leadership experience in higher education and the telecommunications industry, and she has provided marketing and business development advisory services for a host of small to mid-sized organizations and businesses.

Anna Budavich, chair of the OLSH board of directors, said in a release, "The search committee identified Terry as the individual whose background, leadership abilities, energy and vision represented an ideal fit for OLSH at this point in its history."

Among her early priorities will be the facilitation of a comprehensive strategic planning process, according to the school. Mrs. Donoghue will begin on March 19.
