Moon police confiscate elementary student's pellet gun

School officials in Moon Township said a Hyde Elementary School student brought a pellet gun to a school bus stop this morning.

Moon police were called and took possession of the gun, according to a statement posted on the Moon Area School District's website.

School officials said "the district is following appropriate school discipline policies" and declined to comment further, citing student confidentiality.
