Bethel Park -- The South Arts group will hold a free art show titled "Inception" from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at its gallery in the Historic Schoolhouse in Bethel Park, 2600 South Park Road. Information:

Bethel Park -- A spring craft fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 24 at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road. Proceeds benefit Prime Time Adult Care, a nonprofit offering medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation for those with Alzheimer's disease.

Bethel Park -- The children's choirs for age 4 through sixth grade will present their spring musical, "The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit," at 3 p.m. March 25 at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road. Information: 412-835-6621 or

Dormont -- Florence Biros, author of the book "Dog Jack," now a film, will sign autographs at a screening of the film at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Hollywood Theater, 1449 Potomac Ave. The film also will be shown at 4 p.m. Friday.

Upper St. Clair -- The Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra will perform a special concert at 7:30 p.m. March 31 at the Upper St. Clair Theater, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road. Canonsburg -- Frank Sarris Public Library will hold a candy-making class from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday for adults and high school juniors and seniors. Cost: $2. Information: 724-745-1308.
