Saint Louis coach sent for hospital check before Duquesne game

Saint Louis Coach Rick Majerus was sent to the hospital for precautionary reasons this morning and is not coaching against Duquesne.

Majerus went for an early morning swim, according to the Saint Louis sports information department, travelled to the Palumbo Center with the team but "after an evaluation by doctors it was suggested he be sent to the hospital for further evaluation."

The team is being coached by assistant Chris Harriman.

Saint Louis, No. 2 in the Atlantic 10, has already clinched a first round bye in next week's A-10 tournament.
