Duquesne dropped its regular season finale to Saint Louis, 75-60, on Saturday at home, struggling to contend inside with the No. 2 ranked team in the Atlantic 10.

The loss means Duquesne (16-14, 7-9 A-10) will finish the season as the No. 9 seed in the upcoming playoffs and will face No. 8 Massachusetts on the road Tuesday in Amherst, Mass.

Duquesne beat the Minutemen at home back on Jan. 18 by a score of 80-69.

The Billikens were a tough match for Duquesne, getting 20 points from Dwayne Evans, mostly inside.

Saint Louis scored 40 points in the paint and 19 on second chance shots. Duquesne shot poorly to open the game, fell behind and never got closer than eight points in the second half.
