Fashions spotted at the Golden Globes often preview what's to come on red carpets throughout the Hollywood awards season.

That proved to be the case Sunday at the 84th Academy Awards, where many of the blushes, creams and nudes that turned heads in January reappeared in more polished ways -- plus some beaded glitz, hints of spring shades and conservative silhouettes.

The bubbly was flowing even before the after parties, thanks to a slew of styles in variations of champagne, copper and silver. E! correspondent Giuliana Rancic, Cameron Diaz, Stacy Keibler, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Octavia Spencer -- and even Miss Piggy -- exuded elegance in these subtle-yet-stunning hues.

Nudes, blushes and creams revived their spots on the red carpet courtesy of Penelope Ann Miller in Badgley Mischka, Melissa McCarthy in Marina Rinaldi, Amara Miller in Valentino and Kristen Wiig in J. Mendel. Usual black devotee Rooney Mara changed things up with ivory.

Others embraced the opposite end of the color spectrum. Tina Fey showcased dark sophistication in a form-fitting custom Carolina Herrera gown. Kelly Osbourne and Angelina Jolie tapped black, while "Bridesmaids" actresses Rose Byrne and Ellie Kemper did dark in sequined Vivienne Westwood and sparkly rust Armani, respectively.

It's hard to believe bold brights are so highly anticipated for the spring, because not many were modeled for the paparazzi parade. Adding a much-welcome jolt of color to the mix were Michelle Williams in coral Louis Vuitton and Missi Pyle in an eco-friendly seafoam dress made of materials from cruelty-free silkworms. A stunner of the night was Emma Stone, one of Hollywood's newer members of the must-see style list. She didn't disappoint in a fuchsia Giambattista Valli with high neckline, complete with oversized bow.
